Anantara Bandar Al Khairan Resort

Anantara Bandar Al Khairan Resort is a planned coastal retreat in Bandar Al Khairan, south-east of Muscat, set between Oman’s tawny mountains and the clear waters of the Gulf of Oman. Scheduled to open in 2027, it brings the Anantara style to a rugged, quieter stretch of coastline about 45 minutes from Muscat International Airport. The accommodation is arranged as rooms, chalets and villas, with selected villas offering private pools and a more secluded garden setting. The mood is contemporary rather than ornate: broad views, natural textures and the sea always close by. Dining is planned across five restaurants and bars, including beachfront and rooftop venues. Facilities include an infinity pool, children’s splash pool, spa, fitness centre, kids’ and teens’ spaces, meeting areas and a private majlis for stargazing, a fitting detail in a place where the night sky feels part of the landscape.
