Anantara Zanzibar Resort & Residences

Planned for Zanzibar’s northern coast, Anantara Zanzibar Resort & Residences is being developed as a beachfront retreat combining hotel accommodation with branded residences. The setting is designed around white-sand beaches, tropical vegetation and direct access to the Indian Ocean, with a private jetty adding flexibility for coastal excursions and water-based activities. The accommodation mix is expected to include suites, apartments and pool villas, giving the property a broader residential feel than a conventional resort. Dining will span all-day service, a speciality restaurant, beach club options, cafés, rooftop and tiki-style bars, while the leisure offering is planned to include a lagoon, water sports centre, fitness facilities, Anantara Spa, and clubs for younger guests. The project is scheduled to open in 2027 and will mark Anantara’s arrival in Zanzibar.
