Gutshotel Menterschwaige occupies a carefully renovated historic estate in Harlaching, on the elevated banks of the Isar in Munich’s green southern reaches. The setting feels removed from the city without being remote, with walking and cycling routes along the river and straightforward access towards Grünwald, Giesing and central Munich. The 28-room boutique hotel combines historic character with contemporary interiors and includes three suites, nine superior rooms, twelve classic double rooms and four single rooms. There is no conventional reception desk; digital check-in and guest services are handled through a mobile system. The in-house restaurant serves regional and international dishes, while the traditional beer garden provides the more sociable side of the property. A ballroom, courtyard and conference room extend the estate’s role beyond overnight stays.
