Hotel Marjan
Split, Croatia · Independent · May 2027

Hotel Marjan is being rebuilt on Split’s western waterfront, returning a familiar landmark to the city in a substantially renewed form. The project retains the building’s recognisable modernist silhouette while introducing a contemporary five-star hospitality concept with 285 rooms and suites. A planted atrium is planned as the social heart of the ground floor, connecting the lobby with two restaurants, while the upper section is designed to include a fine-dining restaurant with a covered terrace and views across Split. Rooms in the lower levels are planned with terraces or balconies, while tower accommodation will use glazed loggias to bring the waterfront setting indoors. Wellness facilities, public areas and dining venues are intended to serve both hotel guests and the wider city. The hotel is expected to welcome its first guests in 2027.
