La Posta Vecchia Hotel Ladispoli
Ladispoli, Italy · Pellicano Hotels · September 2026

La Posta Vecchia Hotel is a 21-room coastal retreat in Palo Laziale, within the Ladispoli area north-west of Rome. The hotel occupies a 17th-century villa that was once the Italian home of Jean Paul Getty, and its character remains rooted in that layered past: antique-filled salons, Renaissance details and a private archaeological museum built around Roman remains discovered on the estate. Accommodation ranges from rooms in the tower to individually styled suites, with views towards the Tyrrhenian Sea, gardens or nearby Castello Odescalchi. Days can move easily between the private beach, outdoor pool, marble-lined indoor pool and wellness facilities, while tennis, bikes and waterside activities add a more active note. Da Aurelio serves Italian cooking shaped by regional produce, and Bar Piranesi is the natural place for an aperitivo after the sea air has done its work.
