Laba Migration Camp
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania · Laba · April 2024

LABA Migration Camp is a mobile tented camp that follows Tanzania’s Great Migration through the Serengeti, shifting between three seasonal locations each year to stay close to the herds. The concept leans into the early-safari mood of canvas, lantern light and open horizons, but with contemporary comfort: roomy safari tents set apart for privacy, en-suite bathrooms and shaded verandas facing the plains. Days are structured around game drives timed to the movement of wildebeest and zebra, with guides reading tracks and weather as much as the map. Meals are taken in a central mess tent or outdoors when conditions allow, with the campfire becoming the natural meeting point after dark. Power and connectivity are kept practical rather than intrusive, in keeping with a camp designed to be present, then gone, leaving little behind.
