Hôtel Luxia is a compact Touriste address in Montmartre, positioned at the foot of the Butte near the Sacré-Cœur and the lively fabric-market district around Marché Saint-Pierre. The 44-room hotel has been conceived with Necchi Architecture as an urban retreat with a distinctly late-1990s modernist vocabulary: pale sycamore, suede-like finishes and glossy lacquer create a restrained, enveloping backdrop. Guest rooms continue the idea with checkerboard cork surfaces across walls and ceilings, giving the spaces a soft, cocooned character amid the energy of the 18th arrondissement. A spa brings a darker, more cinematic counterpoint to the interiors, drawing on Montmartre’s creative, nocturnal side. This is a small-scale base for travellers who want the village texture of the hill, quick access to central Paris, and a hotel with a deliberately individual point of view.
