Maya Hotel Courchevel
Courchevel, France · Independent · December 2025

Maya Hotel Courchevel 1850 is an intimate 14-room boutique hotel in the centre of Courchevel 1850, positioned for easy access to the slopes, village boutiques and the resort’s evening life. Its interiors, conceived by architect and designer Sylvestre Murigneux, pair an Alpine setting with a restrained Japanese-inspired aesthetic: natural tones, considered furnishings and Lalique crystal details shape the atmosphere. Accommodation ranges from rooms and suites to the Lalique Apartment, while selected signature spaces showcase the French crystal house’s decorative work. MayaBay, the hotel’s restaurant, brings Japanese and Thai flavours to the table in a polished, low-lit setting. A dedicated treatment room adds a quieter note after a day in the mountains. This is a compact, design-led base for travellers who prefer a small hotel over a sprawling ski resort.
