Radisson RED Reykjavik is a forthcoming 17-storey waterfront hotel on Reykjavík’s central seafront, within easy reach of Laugavegur, Hallgrímskirkja, Harpa and the Sun Voyager sculpture. The 211-room property is planned as a social, design-led base for city breaks and work trips, with a range of room categories including sea-view rooms, family options and suites. Public areas are geared toward mixing business with downtime: a ground-floor coworking area and lounge provide a casual place to meet, while Bríet serves all-day international dishes with a Nordic accent. Up on the 17th floor, the Sky Bar and Viewpoint terrace are intended to frame the city, ocean and mountain horizon.
