The Cape Town EDITION

Scheduled to open in late October 2026, The Cape Town EDITION will bring the EDITION Hotels concept to Africa for the first time, on the V&A Waterfront at the meeting point of the working harbor, the Atlantic and Cape Town’s unmistakable mountain skyline. The 142-room property, including 27 suites, is designed around local craft and a strong sense of place, with hand-laid masonry, tactile materials and views toward Table Mountain, the marina and the ocean. Accommodation will be complemented by a signature spa, fitness facilities, a rooftop pool and several food-and-drink venues, including SHALE, a lobby bar, the intimate Punch Room and rooftop social spaces. It is a hotel built for travelers who like their waterfront polished but not sealed off from the city’s energy.
