The Kensington Hideaway Hotel
London, UK · Independent · February 2026

The Kensington Hideaway Hotel is a 59-room boutique stay on Kensington High Street, shaped around the literary connections of its west London neighbourhood. The former Seraphine Kensington was reimagined in 2026 with interiors that pair warm textures, soft lighting and contemporary details with references to writers associated with Kensington, including Agatha Christie, T. S. Eliot, William Makepeace Thackeray and P. L. Travers. Rooms are designed as calm city bases for business trips, museum days and unhurried weekends. Downstairs, the Hideaway Lounge brings together an all-day restaurant, bar and courtyard setting for coffee, casual food and evening cocktails. Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington’s museums and Olympia are all within easy reach, while the hotel’s setting offers a more residential rhythm than central London’s busiest districts.
