The Setai, St. Maarten
Philipsburg, Sint Maarten · The Setai · January 2028
The Setai, St. Maarten is a planned oceanfront resort and residential destination on Indigo Bay, on the Dutch side of the island. Set along a secluded Caribbean shoreline, the project is being developed as the first Caribbean address for The Setai, a hospitality brand already represented in Miami Beach and Israel. The resort concept combines hotel accommodation with private residences, a beach club, private dock, swimming pools, destination spa, fitness facilities, tennis and pickleball courts, and a range of dining settings. Culinary plans include a refined restaurant associated with Alain Ducasse, alongside more relaxed coastal venues. Architecture by HKS and interiors by Studio Munge are intended to follow the contours of the site, with open views, generous terraces, and a calm, low-key atmosphere. The property is currently under construction and is scheduled for a 2028 opening.
